You don't need to be vegan to enjoy the food ❤️ the environment was inviting, Danna was very warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. My wife had the coconut curry and I had the enchiladas and to drink was the cucumber ginger which was so refreshing. It's not your typical tasting food but that was expected and definitely delicious. We will be back to this wonderful place

Though this is my second time here, it is the first time I made it before the kitchen was closing up! I had the “Can’t Beet This Burger” and a turmeric latte. As a non-vegan, I was honestly baffled by how the burger possibly beats 90% of the burgers I’ve had. Hands down one of the best I’ve ever had in both taste and texture. I’m normally only in McAllen on business, and FoodAMed is going to be a must-visit every time.

Food is delicious & the juices are thirsty quenching! I highly recommend FoodAMed especially during these times where processed foods are chemical based instead of natural. If your looking for tasty and healthy yummy for your tummy meals you've got to check out FoodAMed! Hands down highly recommended!

Both my husband and I loved eating and enjoying the environment of the restaurant. I enjoyed ,( Veggie soup to start , enchiladas and sweet potato fries with avocado guacamole).
My husband had ( Lentil veg soup, stuffed shells and shared the sweet potato fries with avocado guacamole ).
It felt like I have never tasted veggies before today. Today I felt like I actually ate and enjoyed a great lovely meal.
It was refreshing the culinary genius that came out of the kitchen.
I am so glad my awesome neighbor suggested this restaurant to my husband and I.

First time customer who has been wanting to visit for some time. Finally had a chance to place an order for pick up. The service was wonderful, friendly, and informative. The beet burger was fantastic and I savored every bite. Looking forward to tasting the turmeric juice and oatmeal raisen cookies. Thank you!

Foodamed is hands-down one of the best vegan spots in the Valley! The food is fresh, creative, and absolutely satisfying—even for non-vegans.
We tried a variety of dishes: the vegan enchiladas with rice and beans, nachos loaded with black beans, pico, and creamy sauces, a hearty Philly "Steak" sandwich stuffed with cheese and sautéed veggies, and even their “wings” platter with different sauces and a tasty dipping sauce. Everything was flavorful and filling, and you can tell the ingredients are clean and wholesome.
The desserts are just as impressive. The berry cheesecake was refreshing and light, the brownies were rich and fudgy, and the banana-based ice cream was a perfect guilt-free treat.
On top of the food, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You don’t feel like you’re “missing out” on anything here—this is comfort food with a healthy twist.
Whether you’re vegan, plant-based, or just curious to try something new, Foodamed is worth the visit. Highly recommended!

A very cozy and relaxing atmosphere, it's nice and clean as well.
I got the chickpea curry and the flavors were amazing. The chickpeas had the perfect consistency, not too soft, and not too hard.
I shared a slice of chocolate cake with my partner as well. I'm not usually a fan of chocolate cake, but this one had a nice tartness to the frosting that made it so delicious!
We're definitely coming back more often.

I am visiting from Michigan and was looking for a vegan restaurant and let me tell you this place did NOT disappoint. The atmosphere was so inviting, The food was amazing, the staff were welcoming, and the owner was so hospitable. The prices were very good. I’ll be coming back again before I leave and when I visit.

Foodamed was an absolutely wonderful experience. The quality of the food is just amazing, everything tastes incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
The atmosphere is calm and relaxing, very clean and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff is super friendly and kind, and they make you feel comfortable right away.
I had the hibiscus tea and the Tex Mex Veggie Wrap, which was stuffed with bell peppers, zucchini, squash, purple onion, brown rice, and black beans. It came with house made chipotle sauce, pico de gallo, guacamole, and chips, and everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced.
I will definitely be coming back and look forward to trying more from their menu. Highly recommend.

I’ve got to agree with some of the earlier reviews. As this is a unique culinary experience in McAllen, Eduardo and his staff are happy to answer any questions you might have. Ingredients tremendously fresh. I enjoyed the Mediterranean platter, meatballs (without spaghetti), and stuffed shells. My only slight complaint was the tomato sauce was super salty; it might not be house made. Otherwise, tremendous tasting.
